A page dedicated to Miyajima tour!
Miyajima was awesome. The Torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine is definitely a signature of Japan that must be seen. Itsukushima itself is a nice island, though unfortunately the cable car was out of service and I didn't get to hike up the hill top due to time limitation.

Rickshaws are common around the island. More common is the big smile always worn by the drivers. |

Kids feeding fish food.
Is that a deer pretending to be fish, a a fish disguised as a deer? |

The largest torii at low tide. Not the perfect scene but you can compare the size of it with the little humans around. |

It was a great experience traveling in the major areas of Hiroshima, and I wished I had more time spent there. Hiroshima prefecture is probably less-known as compared to that of Kyoto, but its boast of nature and culture is poses meaningful attractions. In hopes that I get to spend more time in this place again.
