A trial round of photography with a DSLR was in coutesy of a D90 borrowed from a friend. With Vivienne in town and finally to meet her up after a year's wait (a previous meet up unsuccessful), we took a stroll around the Clan Jetties and the old Georgetown.
Clan Jetties
Current attraction: a new wall painting at Chew Jetty been vandalized, merely a day after the pubiclity made on paper.
An interesting sight of school shoes in a trolley under the sun.
It reminds me of the school days when mission of the weekend was to get the school shoes washed and dried. =)
My favorite spot at Tan Jetty... but totally spoiled by the flags :( [Wrong shutter speed used.. haha]
An ant's view: Where is the path ahead?
An uncle fished an 'ikan kitang' which he said was very tasty but have poisonous fins.
He released this because it was a female.
The cute mischievous doggie who barked loudly at us when we first passed by, but get shy and timid once the owner took it up! Such a darling ^^
A smell of hometown
Vivienne with the famous Armenian Street wall painting :)
Fading over time, they are still as lovely
A new purple indigo wall
The most traditional Barber's shop along Armenian Street
Trishaw, an icon of old Georgetown
Vivienne with the boy outside Khoo Kongsi
Discovered a flea market at the end of the street, with all types of items, new or old, original or pirated. ;)
It was great hanging out with Vivienne, discovering some new spots, having some girl talk, just a relaxing Saturday.
