Fun and Explore at Saanen Goat Farm

Penang island, highly urbanised and industrialised as it is. How would it come across your mind of a goat farm visit in this small piece of land?

That's exactly what we did! Welcome to Saanen Goat Farm, Balik Pulau!

The place is hard to track through GPS, when we ended up at Happy Goat Farm which was a small enclosed farm not for visitors. With the help of Eddie from Explore Balik Pulau cycling tour, we successfully set foot on the farm!

Reaching the place, you will be welcomed by goat heads poking out of the barn! How cute and funny are they!

 Sit around like a boss!

This is a male goat, resembling a male charisma like that of a Lion. 

 Lydia who is the most keen on the farm visit but who apparently is much afraid of animals with fur! 

 Yup, it was fun! 

And after that she ran away hiding in the car. =.=

Goat butting is a regular practice among the peers in order to sharpen their horns =)

More to my adore were the kids (young goats) running around freely within the barn. A visit worthwhile for the young and matured, as how many of us urban people have actually close contact to farm animals?

Do visit the place for fresh goat milk (yea, they don't stink, much to my surprise!) and Nutmeg flavored goat milk yoghurt (awesome!!).
