Wishing the best of happiness to my newly-wed cousin and cousin-in-law! <3

~Sian Sian & Wei Soon's Big Day~

Yet another wedding in the year, the one that we have all anticipated, of my dear cousin Sian Sian! Having the honor of being one of the bridesmaid, how can I resist from getting my hands on my dear Nik for the great photo shooting environment?!
With a loaned prime lens from a friend (thanks a lot!), the new experience had me sacrificing some shots, but the good ones had me loving the lens more and more! =)

Here goes the main shots.
Starting off with the eve...
Customary prayers and offerings to the gods for goodwill

Not a very good shot, but liking the 'paiseh' expression ;)

On the day itself, I, as a full-time 'ji mui' and part-time photographer was only able to grab hold of the camera after 'our job was done'. There goes, the groom managed to pass the obstacles and meet the b
bride (well seriously NOT much obstacles anyway!!)

The loving kiss :D

"You dare me?!"

With regards to majority interest, a kiss for the bride! XD

The two bears that leads the way

Tea serving session for the elders

Angpow giving session for the youngs.
Photo shooting at the Couple's new place

The flower bouquet

Will soon be up with the side shots. Stay tuned! =)

The epic shot: Bride and the photographer :D

First and whole new experience of photography. Professionalism is still on the way, while I get to learn not only the ethics of photography, but also the customary wedding day tradition of Chinese wedding ceremony.

In hopes, more to come. =)
